Cobham is a world leader in ground penetrating radar, having supplied over 5000 systems for detection of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).
•             Minehound is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product that combines Cobham’s leading-edge Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology with a Vallon metal detector.
•             Wirehound is a new handheld wire detector specifically tuned to the detection of command and interconnection wires.
•             The AMULET modular detection system is low size, weight and power, as well as easy to use. Suitable for fitting to a variety of platforms, from small robotic systems to the largest of military vehicles.

•             The robotic systems tEODor and telemax are now in service in more than 50 countries around the world totalling to more than 600 robotic systems.
•             The TEL600 series of vehicles that deal with the demanding tasks of identification and removal of explosive and incendiary devices, especially if there is suspicion of a dirty bomb. Today more than 150 TEL600 Service vehicles support customers around the world.

For more than 50 years, Cobham has designed and produced robust sliprings for turrets of military vehicles, radars, weapons systems and optronic defence applications which are capable of withstanding the intense vibrations experienced during operations.
