Cobham is a world leader in ground penetrating radar, having supplied over 5000 systems for detection of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).
• Minehound is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product that combines Cobham’s leading-edge Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology with a Vallon metal detector.
• Wirehound is a new handheld wire detector specifically tuned to the detection of command and interconnection wires.
• The AMULET modular detection system is low size, weight and power, as well as easy to use. Suitable for fitting to a variety of platforms, from small robotic systems to the largest of military vehicles.

Cobham is a leader in the development and production of sliprings which allow electrical bonding between rotating and stationary components. For more than 50 years, Cobham has designed and produced robust sliprings for turrets of military vehicles, radars, weapons systems and optronic defence applications which are capable of withstanding the intense vibrations experienced during operations. Cobham is a developer of additional functionality combining it’s slipring functions with microwave joints, swivel joints, hydraulic joints, emitters and fibre-optics.
