13 Aug, 2025 – SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost airline, has achieved a significant milestone in its distribution strategy with the official launch of its offerings on Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS). Travel agents using Sabre GDS can now seamlessly book SalamAir flights under the airline’s OV code and issue tickets on the OV960 stock in all it’s active Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) markets.

This strategic move significantly enhances SalamAir’s global accessibility, leveraging Sabre’s strong market presence to connect with a broader network of travel agencies and online travel platforms. The activation also complements the airline’s ongoing digital expansion, making its competitive fares and growing network more accessible to international travelers.

“Our launch on Sabre GDS represents a significant milestone in expanding SalamAir’s global footprint and enhancing our distribution capabilities,” said Steven Allen, Chief Commercial Officer at SalamAir. “This integration connects our growing network with Sabre’s extensive community of travel agents worldwide, making it easier than ever for partners and passengers to access SalamAir’s competitive fares.”

With the Sabre activation, SalamAir is now accessible in key BSP markets, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Turkey, with additional markets such as Oman, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh set to follow in the coming months.
