- Autonomous Drones, Electronic Warfare Systems, and Innovative Energy Solutions: Israel Showcases Advanced Defense Technologies at DEFEA 2025
- Twenty-five leading Israeli companies are exhibiting the next generation of battle-proven defense systems in Greece – from autonomous drones and secure communication solutions to innovative energy technologies changing the game’s rules in the modern battlefield.
The Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), through its International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), is leading a strong delegation of 25 Israeli defense companies at DEFEA 2025, the international defense and security exhibition held in Athens, Greece, and organized by the GDDIA and the Hellenic Manufacturers Association of Defence. The impressive Israeli participation highlights the country’s position as one of the global leaders in defense technology and underscores the partnership between Israel and Greece.
As part of the delegation, nine innovative companies are exhibiting at the SIBAT national pavilion, showcasing a diverse range of advanced battle-proven technologies across five key categories: Security and Protection, Weapon Systems, Unmanned and Autonomous Systems, Electronic Equipment and Hardware, and Cyber and Communication Systems. Additionally, 16 leading Israeli defense companies, including Elbit Systems, IAI, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, are exhibiting independently.
The Israeli pavilion welcomes numerous visitors throughout the exhibition, including official delegations, industry professionals, and security experts. The exhibition serves as a platform for professional discussions and networking opportunities, further strengthening security relations in the defense sector.
Head of SIBAT, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas: “The relationship between Israel and Greece represents a remarkable alliance marked by mutual objectives. Our defense cooperation strengthens regional security and contributes to stability. The significant Israeli participation at DEFEA 2025 underscores our commitment to deepening defense relations between our countries. SIBAT serves as a gateway to Israel’s vast defense ecosystem and international collaborations, making this exhibition an excellent platform for such partnerships.”
