Volvo Defense will showcase a comprehensive lineup at DSEI, highlighting the unique advantage of building on proven commercial platforms with high commonality between civilian and defense applications.

On display at DSEI – Defence and Security Equipment International, one of the world’s largest defense and security exhibitions, will be the armored military Volvo FMX 4×4, a Volvo wheel loader with a protected cab, a marine engine, and the I-Shift transmission with Ultra Low Crawler Gears – demonstrating Volvo’s capability to deliver mission-ready mobility, power, and support systems.

“Our lineup at DSEI represents military-capable platforms spanning a wide variety of applications, offering a unique product range that supports operations from the base to the last-mile logistics”, says Andreas Svenungsson, President of Volvo Defense. “I’m excited to be back at DSEI, meeting with customers and industry stakeholders to discuss how Volvo Defense’s offer can contribute to strong defense solutions and protect people and societies.”

All products are built on Volvo Group’s CAST (Common Architecture and Shared Technology) platform, which enables extensive shared technology across trucks, construction equipment, buses, marine engines, and generators. This high degree of commonality ensures great availability, streamlined maintenance, long-term lifecycle cost savings and seamless interoperability – critical factors for defence customers.
