As part of the Independence Day 2025 celebrations, an event for The Armed Forces Veterans community was organised at the Nagpur Army Officers’ Mess & Institute (NAOMI) on 23 August 2025. The event was dedicated to honouring our esteemed veterans and fostering a stronger bond among serving and retired personnel. The event was attended by civil dignitaries and important personalities of Nagpur which allowed veterans an exclusive one on one interactions.
In addition to meet greet & interact the event had a special significance as it also marked the farewell to The Patron-in-Chief of NAOMI, Maj Gen SK Vidyarthi, AVSM, SM acknowledging his outstanding leadership, guidance and contribution to HQ Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area and the veteran community.
Everyone joined to celebrate the spirit of service and unity. The event featured interactions with veterans, cultural performances, and expressions of gratitude to the Patron-in-Chief for his invaluable guidance.
