Jürgen WestermeierThe organisers of Aviation India Summit 2025 are proud to announce that Jürgen Westermeier, the newly  appointed President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia, will feature on the opening  ‘Leaders Debate’ at the Summit on 29 October.

“It’s a thrilling time to be in India. India is rising not just as a major aerospace market, but also as a critical  industrial base,” said Westermeier.

“The Indian supply chain provides a unique combination of competence and competitiveness. Airbus is  leveraging these unique strengths of India to support its global aircraft and helicopter programmes and, in the  true ‘Make in India’ spirit of symbiotic growth, is also developing a holistic and modern aerospace ecosystem  in the country across all dimensions: assembly, manufacturing, engineering, MRO, leasing, and human  capital development,” said Westermeier.

Mark Brown, Managing Director of organizer Times Aerospace Events (MESA), said: “We are honoured that Westermeier will conduct one of his first public engagements in India at the Aviation Summit. It is clear  that Airbus is playing a leadership role in bringing India’s aviation growth aspirations to reality.”

The 2nd edition of Aviation India & South Asia Summit & Exhibition 2025 is organized by Times Aerospace  Events (MESA) alongside joint venture partner, the MRO Association of India.
