The second day of DEFEA 2025 International Exhibition for Defence, Security, and Technology featured high-level discussions, official visits, and key industry engagements. The exhibition continued to attract representatives from governments, international organizations, and the defence and security industry, fostering dialogue on current challenges and opportunities.
98 delegations from 45 countries engaged with participating companies, exploring potential collaborations and technological innovations. The exhibition served as a platform for strengthening international defence relationships and promoting cross-border partnerships.
Today’s session, “The Hellenic Armed Forces: Capability & Development – Requirements and Applications,” featured top leadership from the Hellenic National Defence General Staff and GDDIA, highlighting national capability needs and priorities.
Also, the “Demo Day of the NATO DIANA network” concluded with great success, featuring remarks by the DIANA’s Managing Director and live demonstrations by leading tech innovators.
Parallel sessions further enriched the agenda, including the InfoDay by DG DEFIS and the “Connecting Research with the Defence Industry” – InfoDay & Networking Event.
Industry representatives underlined the close connection between defence forces and manufacturers, stressing the need for systems tailored to operational demands. It was noted that domestic industry participation in defence programs is a growing priority, and collaboration will be key to future success.
