Riyadh, July 16, 2025 – The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is organizing the participation of the Saudi pavilion in the International Defense Industry Fair “IDEF 2025,” one of the most prominent defense exhibitions worldwide, held in Turkey from July 22 to 27, 2025. IDEF serves as a strategic platform to showcase the latest advancements in the military industries sector under the patronage of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Alongside GAMI, The Saudi pavilion includes several public and private sector entities, such as the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS), Al-Esnad Industrial Company, the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), Ray Manufacturing Service Company (RMC), INTRA Defense Technologies, GDC Middle East, Qudra Industrial Company, Pioneers Systems, in addition to the World Defense Show (WDS).
This participation aims to highlight the rapid developments in the military industries sector in Saudi Arabia, showcase the most prominent national manufacturing products and capabilities, and display advanced technologies of Saudi military capabilities. Additionally, it seeks to enable companies operating in the sector to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities with global companies, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 toward localizing military industries.
Through organizing the Saudi pavilion’s participation in IDEF 2025, GAMI seeks to highlight the Kingdom’s progress in building a robust and sustainable defense industrial base, along with its efforts to enable companies operating in the military industries sector and enhance their international competitiveness. Meanwhile, GAMI will showcase its national mandates and priorities, policies and regulations, incentives, investor journey, and key capabilities in military and security industries, contributing to attracting investments in the sector.
IDEF serves as a global platform that brings together major companies specializing in military industries, military officials, industry experts, government representatives, academics, and non-governmental organizations from around the world, providing extensive opportunities for discussions and knowledge exchange.
