• Cambridge Aerospace is set to unveil their cutting-edge flagship products, delivering powerful, cost-effective, and scalable intercept solutions that will revolutionise the way the Armed Forces dominate the skies. 

Cambridge, 01 September: Cambridge Aerospace is a fully sovereign British high-technology company which aims to eliminate the risk of missile strikes on NATO and its allies. Their products, Skyhammer, a low-cost, rapidly scalable, interceptor for cruise missiles and large drones, and Starhammer, an interceptor for higher speed and value targets, will be on display for the first time at stand S1-220.

Steven Barrett, CEO of Cambridge Aerospace, said: “I am delighted that Cambridge Aerospace will be attending its first ever DSEI this year. We have evolved rapidly since our founding in late 2024, going from conception to testing in under two months. Both Skyhammer and Starhammer have been designed and developed in the UK to bolster our national defence capabilities and equip the Armed Forces with rapid, reliable, and cost-effective intercept solutions. At our stand we will also be able to discuss our most recent product: Nightstar, our Solid Rocket Motor with fully sovereign production and supply chains.”

Skyhammer  

  • This counter-uncrewed aerial system has been in testing since early 2025 and utilises Cambridge Aerospace’s proprietary information and own supply chains to bring down costs and increase long-term supply chain resilience.
  • Skyhammer has a range of up to 30km and a speed of up to 700 KM/H.
  • The platform is tube stored and launched allowing it to be both easily manoeuvred, while simultaneously can be positioned long term in strategically vital locations and deployed within seconds to counter any incoming threats.

Starhammer  

  • The next product from Cambridge Aerospace Starhammer is a high-speed interceptor to counter aerial threats from higher value targets.
  • Starhammer is capable of detecting and destroying higher value and speed targets, still at a fraction of traditional price points and tube launched for ease of deployment.

Nightstar  

  • Fully sovereign-built solid rocket motor, strengthening the UK’s industrial capability and resilience across the UK and European defence industry.
  • Providing a cost-effective solution to protracted supply chains with sovereign scale manufacturing.
