New Delhi. 10 March 2021. On 09 Mar’ 2021 at about 1500 hrs, a flag meeting was held between BSF BOP Laijuri, 97 Bn BSF under Sector Jowai and BGB BOP Lubachera of 19 BGB. During the meeting, BSF handed over to BGB following apprehended BD nationals as goodwill gesture.
(i) Ahsan Habib Raju, (28 years), S/o Hussain Ahmed.
(ii) Sandip Das, (34 years), S/o Damodar Das.
Both are resident of village Vishnupur, PS Kanaighat, Distt. Sylhet (BD) along with all recovered items to BGB after medical examination on proper receipt. Meeting ended in cordial atmosphere.
The above BD nationals were apprehended on 08.03.21 at about 1845 hrs by BSF when they had crossed the IB inadvertently.
