- The order deepens Avantel’s partnership with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, a premier defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence
Hyderabad / Visakhapatnam, 24th June 2025: Avantel Limited has received a new order valued at Rs 11.15 crore (inclusive of taxes) from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL). The contract involves the supply of an advanced Satellite Communication (Satcom) system, developed in accordance with MDL’s technical requirements. MDL, a premier defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, is India’s leading shipyard responsible for building state-of-the-art warships and submarines for the Indian Navy. This collaboration aligns with the ongoing national focus on enhancing indigenous capabilities in defence communication technologies.
Avantel has an established track record in delivering mission-critical communication technologies. Its portfolio includes radar subsystems, SATCOM terminals, and comprehensive network management systems. The project awarded by MDL is scheduled for delivery and completion by June 2028.
