According to Mr. Sanjiv Edward, President, Air Cargo Forum India, “ACFI is organising the fourth edition of its Annual Conclave. Over the last three editions, our emphasis has been on the topics of critical interest for the Indian Air Cargo sector. Each year, we raise the bar, but this time we have designed the event to be even more forward-looking and action-oriented, with a stronger focus on collaboration between government, industry, and technology partners. Unlike previous events, this year we are introducing policy dialogues, innovation showcases, and concrete roadmaps to align India’s air cargo sector with global best practices.”
He further added, “Since last year’s conclave, we have taken several initiatives that have helped position India as a more efficient, innovative and globally competitive air cargo hub. We have also brought in diverse stakeholders from across India and globally, making it the most inclusive and impactful gathering of minds yet.”
Over 500 delegates from leading corporations in Air logistics, policymakers, and prominent think tanks from India and abroad are expected to attend the ACFI Annual Conclave 2025. Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Kinjara Rammohan Naidu, will give his valuable views on how the Government of India is creating the right environment to achieve its ambitious vision of reaching 10 million metric tonnes of air cargo throughput by 2030.
This edition of the ACFI Annual Conclave will focus on four key themes: Resilience through Innovation, Sustainable and Green Cargo Infrastructure, Express Logistics and E-Commerce Acceleration, and Cargo Security, Regulations and Risk Management. The day-long discussions among key stakeholders are expected to generate powerful insights on these topics, which are of critical importance for the rapid growth of the Indian air cargo sector and for making India a vital air cargo hub over the next five years.
ACFI, in collaboration with Ascel Advisors, will release a comprehensive white paper titled “India’s Air Cargo Horizon: Seizing Global Reroutes, Regional Dominance and Resilience”. The white paper will provide a blueprint for action, highlight key opportunities, challenges and strategies for sustainable growth.
ACFI will also sign two MoUs with the Government of Tripura to unlock the logistics potential of Northeast India to fully leverage the state as a leading air cargo hub in India. ACFI will also be signing an MoU with TIACA to strengthen global collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The conclave will provide policymakers, industry players, think tanks, and media an opportunity to formally and informally interact and network, thereby strengthening their understanding of the sector and enhancing their ability to create solutions that drive extraordinary growth for the Indian air cargo sector.
