
Approximately 3000 visitors including NCC cadets, school children and local populace visited the ship. The visitors were provided a guided tour of the ship and briefed on the armament fit and life onboard warship. Later in the evening, an ALH aircraft performed search and rescue demonstration off Beypore beach, whilst INS Sharda, an offshore patrol vessel undertook illumination at anchorage off Beypore.
Naval exhibition stalls comprising naval equipment and armament like torpedo, sonobuoys, diving apparatus and models of ships and aircraft carrier were also on display in the fest. Further, motivational videos showcasing Naval capabilities and information on career options in the Indian Navy also featured in the stalls. Shri. P A Mohammed Riyaz, Minister of Tourism of Kerala visited the stalls. A naval diving team was also positioned at the site for providing rescue cover and support for the water sports activities as part of the fest.
Earlier, the Naval Band enthralled the audience with a series of martial tunes and patriotic songs on the opening day of the International Fest.
