The Bahrain International AirshowThe Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is officially launching its sales campaign for the 2026 edition during their participation at the Paris Air Show 2025, inviting global aerospace and defence leaders to participate in the prestigious biennial event scheduled for 18–20 November 2026, at Sakhir Airbase, Bahrain.

Building on the record-breaking success of BIAS 2024, which welcomed over 57,000 trade visitors and 226 delegations from 83 countries, the 2026 edition aims to elevate further Bahrain’s role as a strategic hub for aerospace innovation, defence collaboration, and sustainable aviation.

Organised by Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in partnership with Farnborough International, BIAS 2026 will continue its boutique format, offering high-level networking, exclusive hospitality, and a curated platform for business development across civil, military, and space sectors.

Discussing the next instalment of the airshow, Yousif Mahmoud, Director General of the Bahrain International Airshow, said: “BIAS has become a cornerstone networking event in the Middle East for the global aerospace community. Launching our 2026 campaign at the Paris Air Show underscores our commitment to fostering international partnerships and showcasing Bahrain’s growing influence in the aviation sector. We look forward to welcoming the global aerospace community back to Bahrain.”

BIAS 2026 will feature an exhibition hall, luxury chalets, and an extensive static and flying display area, providing participants unparalleled opportunities to engage with key decision-makers and industry leaders.

The 2024 edition of BIAS saw significant developments, including the signing of major aviation agreements, such as Bahrain’s partnership with Leonardo to modernise air traffic radar systems, the granting of the latest business jet operator license to Valo Aviation, and Bahrain Police signed with Airbus to purchase 10 A145 Helicopters.

Exhibitors and delegates interested in participating in BIAS 2026 are encouraged to secure their space early, as demand is expected to surpass previous editions.
