The National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), a premier institution under the Ministry of Defence, today announced a significant achievement: 100% placement and internship success for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Management) [PGDM (BM)] program. This milestone solidifies NADP’s leadership in developing techno-managerial talent for India’s critical defence and strategic sectors.
Launched in 2023, NADP’s AICTE-approved, fully residential PGDM (BM) program is India’s first and only defence-focused management curriculum, uniquely bridging the gap between technical expertise and strategic leadership. The program is mentored by IIM Indore, ensuring rigorous academic standards and industry relevance.
Students from the 2023–25 and 2024–26 batches have secured coveted roles and internships and placements with top-tier organizations across diverse sectors, including:
- Defence & Aerospace: L&T Defence, Tata Advanced Systems, Jindal Defence, Bharat Forge
- Consulting & Research: KPMG, Quantum Ventures
- Banking & Finance: Indian Bank, KRG
- FMCG & Sales: ITC Limited, Quin Pharmaceuticals
- Technology & Cybersecurity: Delaplex, TechB
- Public Sector: Ordnance Factories (Khamaria, Itarsi, Chanda, Bhandara), Munitions India Ltd.
Internship and placement roles spanned impactful positions such as Management Trainee, Business Development Executive, Financial Modelling Analyst, Cybersecurity Manager, Supply Chain Specialist, and Research Analyst, underscoring the program’s multidisciplinary strength and its ability to produce industry-ready professionals. Several students from the inaugural 2023-25 batch are seamlessly transitioning from internships to final placements with firms like KPMG, Quantum Ventures, MKU, Forge Innovation, and various Ordnance Factories.

NADP has recently strengthened its industry-academia collaboration through strategic partnerships with organizations including L&T (PES), Mahindra & Mahindra, KPMG, ITC Limited, NECO, and Lohia Aerospace.
Beyond its placement success, NADP has also recently launched a new cyber-secured website (https://nadp.ac.in), inspired by leading global institutions like Stanford and IIMA. The website, hosted on the secure NICSI cloud, enhances digital engagement, streamlines access to resources, and showcases NADP’s commitment to securing its digital assets against cyber threats.
Further expanding its global reach and research capabilities, NADP has forged a strategic alliance with Eudoxia Research University, USA, and Eudoxia Research Centre, India. This collaboration includes the launch of the International Innovation Program (IIP 14.0 – 2025), a one-year Executive Research Program empowering professionals with advanced research skills, including AI and GPT technologies, and facilitating publications in high-impact journals.
In a move to enhance digital skilling, NADP has partnered with EduSkills Foundation, providing students with direct access to global tech leaders like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco Networking Academy, Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy, and Juniper Networks. This collaboration facilitates virtual internships, certifications, and job connections in critical technology domains.
Additionally, on June 9, 2025, NADP signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. This partnership, initiated with a joint Capacity Building Program on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), aims to strengthen the design, implementation, and impact assessment of CSR programs, with a particular focus on local community development in the Nagpur region.
