SINGAPORE / OBERPFAFFENHOFEN – January 27, 2026 In the year of the completion of the first Do228 NXT multi-role aircraft, the OEM General Atomics AeroTec Systems (GA-ATS), starts a major international trade fair tour with a first stop at Singapore Airshow 2026 (Feb 3 – 8). Throughout the year, the company will engage with international customers, operators and partners in various countries around the world.
Series production of the new Do228 NXT aircraft is currently underway in Germany and the first aircraft will be completed and officially presented this year.
Focusing on South-East Asia
The presence at Singapore Airshow highlights the company’s focus on the South-East Asian market, where the Do228 NXT has plenty mission possibilities. Visiting Asia’s largest aviation trade fair demonstrates the manufacturer’s commitment to the region and to its aviation market.
The aircraft has a long-established history in Asia, being operated for decades by civil and governmental users across Asia – from Japan and Nepal to Thailand and Bangladesh. The platform has earned a reputation for reliability and cost-effective performance in hot, humid and demanding operating environments.
