New Delhi. 04 December 2025. The Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), in collaboration with the Space Industries Association, will host the 2nd Round Table Discussion (RTD) on Defence Space on 10 December 2025. Themed around “Role of Space in Future Wars and Space Warfare in MDO”, the RTD aims to delve into the transformative impact of space as a central domain in Multi-Domain Operations (MDO).
The discussion will underscore space warfare as an evolving strategic, political, and diplomatic domain, extending beyond the conventional kinetic paradigms. It will explore critical aspects such as legal frameworks, cyber assurance, and technological preparedness, which are essential to safeguarding national interests in the new era of conflict.
The objective is to establish a core knowledge and strategy group capable of steering India’s positioning and contribution in upcoming forums like IndSpaceX 4.0 and DefSat 2026. The RTD will bring together experts from military, industry, policy, and academia to map the way forward for India’s leadership in secure, responsible, and resilient space defence capabilities.
