Kuala Lumpur. 26 March 2022. The Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur is a hive of frenetic activity as final preparations for Defence Services Asia (DSA) and NATSEC Asia 2022 ramp into high gear.


In just three days, the highly anticipated defence, security and cybersecurity exhibition will be officially launched. More than 1,170 participating companies from 44 countries are putting the finishing touches to their booths and exhibits, in what promises to be the biggest and best edition ever, in the show’s 34-year history.
DSA and NATSEC Asia 2022 will be officially launched on March 27, at 8pm. Guests of Honour are the Senior Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein, and Minister of Home Affairs, YB Dato’ Seri Hamzah Bin Zainudin.


Earlier in the day, the world’s press will be given a tour of the sprawling exhibition halls. They will have the opportunity to get a closer look at the magnitude of the preparations, and be given a tour of the facilities and amenities at the show site.


Several programmes have been lined up by the organisers for March 28, the first day of the show. It will begin with the Official Gracing Ceremony, followed by an Official Tour by Senior Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein, and Minister of Home Affairs, YB Dato’ Seri Hamzah Bin Zainudin.
Day 2 – March 29 – will be dominated by a series of conferences, headlined by the prestigious Putrajaya Forum, with the theme ‘Shared Regional Responsibility’. Guest of Honour is the Senior Minister of Defence, who will also deliver the Keynote Address.


Running concurrently with the Putrajaya Forum is the Cyber Defence and Security Conference (Cydef 2022), themed ‘The Future of Cybersecurity in Southeast Asia’. This will be officiated by YB Dato’ Seri Hamzah bin Zainudin, the Minister of Home Affairs.
