Moscow. 20 August 2022. In Venezuela, the first Sniper Frontier competition was launched at Terepaima training ground in mountainous region of Lara state. The competition takes place as part of the 8th International Army Games.

In addition to the team from the host country, representatives from Russia, Bolivia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Myanmar are competing to win the title of the world’s best sniper.

The outcome of the first day of competition was a demonstration of the brilliant training and skills of the Russian shooters. Already the preliminary results of the first two exercises have placed the Russian team at the top of the standings.

Teams competing in the international sniper competition compete in the Games 2022 with 7.62mm Dragunov sniper rifles and PSO-1 rifle sights for the first time in Venezuela.
