Moscow. Aerospace Forces of Russian Federation will take part in the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019, as stated in the letter from Valeriy Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the first Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, sent to the airshow organizer.

“Aerospace forces will take part in the International aviation and space salon MAKS-2019 on standard terms” – is said in the letter.

Traditionally, the Russian Aerospace Forces participate in the International Aviation and Space Salons, presenting both aerobatic flying groups and an extensive static exhibition. In 2017, visitors to the exhibition were able to see performances of the “Russian Knights”, “Swifts” and “Falcons of Russia” aerobatic teams, as well as familiarize themselves with the aircraft that are in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces. The MiG-29SMT, Su-30SM, Su-35S fighters, the Yak-130 combat training aircraft, the Su-34 front-line bomber, the Tu-160, Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3 bomber, long-range radar aircraft A-50U detection, An-30B, L-410UVP-E20 aircraft, as well as transport helicopters Mi-8AMTSH-VA, Mi-8MTV5-1, Mi-26, attack helicopters Mi-28N, Mi-35, Ka-52 and training helicopter “Ansat-U”. In previous years, the performances of the “Berkuts”, “Wings of Taurida” and “Heavenly Hussars” aerobatic teams became the decoration of the MAKS salons.

The list of aviation aerobatic teams that will take part in demonstration flights, as well as aircraft that will be exhibited at the static site, will be announced by the Russian Aerospace Forces in the near future.
