Moscow. 20 August 2022.  At the daily briefing for journalists at the Joint Press Centre of ARMY 2022 International Military and Technical Forum and International Army Games 2022 by Colonel General Alexander Lentsov, Chief Referee of the Games, summarised the results of the four competition days.

According to the Chief Referee, more than 175,000 spectators visited the military specialists’ competition grounds over the past 24 hours. In total, they were watched from the stands by more than 560,000 fans during the days of Games 2022.

Opening ceremonies for 3 competitions were held yesterday, with drawing of lots of 3 competitions and competition in 23 competitions.

Guardian of Order competition among Military Police has started. Patrol Unit – first stage of the competition, where Russian Armed Forces team in the lead, with Belarus in second place and Iran in third.

In the Republic of Azerbaijan, Artillery Fire at a Floating Mine Exercise kicked off as part of Sea Cup competition. First place was shared between Russia and Azerbaijan. They are followed by Kazakhstan and Iran.

In the Republic of Belarus, signal officers and military railway personnel have begun the competition. At Confident Reception competition in Minsk, the first round of Radio Orienteering was held, with the best result coming from the Belarusian team, with Russia finishing second and Uzbekistan third. Steel Highway competition also held the first stage called Mostovik. Russia has the first and Belarus the second.

Another competition hosted by the Republic of Belarus is Polar Star, among special forces units. The results of the eight exercises are as follows: Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has launched Gunsmith Master competition for weapons repair platoons. After the first stage, the best time was shown by the Uzbek servicemen, second place went to the Russian specialists.

At Military Medical Relay Race competition in St Petersburg, the Russian team is in the lead, followed by Uzbekistan and Belarus.

In Elbrus Ring mountaineering competition, the troops competed in rescuing a casualty on a rock climbing wall. At the end of the four tasks, first place went to Russia and second to Uzbekistan.

According to preliminary results in the overall standings of International Army Games, the national team of the Russian Federation is in the lead, with the Republic of Belarus in second place and the Republic of Uzbekistan in third place, said the Cheif Referee of International Army Games 2022.

Colonel General Alexander Lentsov also said that the opening ceremonies of Special Dask competition will be held today as part of the Games, with competitions to be held in 27 competitions.
