Moscow. 15 August 2022. For the first time, the exhibition site of the IMTF “ARMY-2022” will be deployed in the village of Egvekinot in the Arctic zone of Russia

The International Military-Technical Forum “ARMY-2022” will continue its work until  August 21, 2022. The main events of the Forum are held on the basis of the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center, the Alabino training ground and the Kubinka airfield. The organizer is the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

In the village of Egvekinot, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, from August 19 to August 21, a demonstration site of the VIII International Military-Technical Forum (IMTF) “ARMY-2022” will be deployed. In the entire history of the IMTF, the site in Egvekinot will be deployed for the first time.

Egvekinot is included in the zone of responsibility of the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia and is located at a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. At the site, which will be deployed on the central square of the village, the weapons of the coastal troops and the equipment of the marines of the Navy will be presented. It is planned to exhibit samples of the latest small arms, military and special equipment.

For participants and guests of the forum, combat vehicles of the Bastion coastal missile system, satellite navigation equipment Grot-M and Breeze, equipment sets Ratnik and OZK-2, small arms, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, sniper rifles will be presented and pistols. Also, within the framework of the ARMY-2022 IMTF, sports competitions will be held during the days of the site with the involvement of forum visitors.
