Nagpur. 22 September 2024. Lieutenant General Pawan Chadha, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Maharashtra Guajrat & Goa Area visited Army Establishments in Nagpur, Kamptee & Pulgaon wef 19 Sep 2024 to 22 Sep 2024. On 21 Sep 2024, the General Officer was briefed by Maj Gen S K Vidyarthi, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding, Uttar Maharashtra & Guajrat Sub Area. He reviewed the preparations of the Sub Area towards its role during War and Peace, to include the active role being played in Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief, Welfare Initiatives for Ex-Servicemen, Tour of Sitabuldee Fort being conducted for Civilians and other initiatives in progress. The General Officer inspected the facilities and was updated about the status of ongoing infrastructure development projects.
On 20 Sep 2024, The General Officer visited the Central Ammunition Depot at Pulgaon and he was briefed about the latest new tech security arrangements and upgraded infrastructure works. He also toured the station and saw the newly added logistics development capabilities.
During the three days visit to Nagpur & Pulgaon, the General Officer interacted with all officers, JCOs and soldiers of the formation and exhorted them to continue their good and high morale.
