Ahmedabad. 20 September 2023. The Indian Space Policy – 2023 has given IN-SPACe the mandate to define frameworks for developing space industry standards based on global benchmarks and promote a culture of excellence in the Indian space industry.

To accomplish this, IN-SPACe has created an action plan (a framework) to disseminate Indian standards based on internationally accepted best practices. Taking the first step towards this, Sh. Rajeev Jyoti, Director, Technical Directorate, IN-SPACe announced the release of the “Catalogue of Indian Standards for Space Industry” complied by IN-SPACe and BIS at the inaugural session of International Conference on Space 2023, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
