India is central to GE Aerospace’s global innovation engine, with Bengaluru teams advancing next‑generation propulsion and services technologies to meet customer needs. Engineers and researchers are helping mature *CFM RISE program and hybrid‑electric technologies, supporting dust ingestion testing and driving services innovations like 360 Foam Wash to improve efficiency and durability in severe operating environments like South Asia. Also, Bengaluru’s digital teams are transforming engine maintenance with AI and digital twins for better inspection accuracy, faster turnaround time and improved time on wing.
Talent development
This September, the GE Aerospace Foundation, in partnership with United Way, launched Next Engineers at Bengaluru, the four-year college and career readiness program. The company’s Edison Engineering Development Program, a two-year rotational program meant to build future engineering leaders, also completed two decades of engineering excellence in India in 2025.
