The 54th edition of the prestigious Paris Air Show has begun at Le Bourget Airport in Paris. AERO Vodochody Aerospace traditionally exhibits at the world’s largest aerospace industry presentation. The company’s flagship, the L-39NG two-seat subsonic jet aircraft, dominates the joint exhibition of Czech aerospace manufacturers in the form of a model. Aero expects its participation in the event to increase interest in its L-39NG, which represents a modern versatile platform suitable for training, reconnaissance and light combat missions. A number of ongoing meetings and official visits to the stand confirm this interest. At the Paris Aero salon, Aero is presenting itself in the new presentation mode of the world’s largest trainer jet manufacturer.

Aero is presenting at Le Bourget its new L-39NG, the next generation of the world’s most successful subsonic trainer jet, combining advanced avionics systems, an extremely efficient jet engine and outstanding flight performance. The L-39NG is fully certified in accordance with EU and NATO regulations, allowing it to be sold worldwide.

During the Paris Air Show, meetings are being held with a number of important representatives of current and potential customers or representatives of important institutions. “We are in a series of ongoing negotiations not only on L-39NG contracts, but also with subcontractors to L-39NG production, such as Martin Baker or Williams, and last but not least, we will meet with our customers Embraer and Airbus to deepen cooperation in the field of production units,” adds Viktor Sotona, President and CEO of Aero: “The Paris Air Show is a great opportunity for Aero and other Czech aerospace manufacturers to show that we are a force to be reckoned with in this global industry and that we can be interesting partners also in the field of the latest technological innovations.”

Aero is presenting itself in Paris in a new communication language that better describes the company’s new vision and mission, based on the fact that the company has been supporting the best pilots from all over the world for more than 100 years and the company’s aircraft are the pillar of flight training for the fifth generation of fighter pilots. Aero provides military jet fighter pilots with the most appropriate systems, technology and support they use to ensure safety.

The joint presentation of sixteen Czech companies from the aerospace sector is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic with the support of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Paris, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and in cooperation with the Aerospace Industry Association of the Czech Republic. For the first time, the comprehensive sectoral capabilities of the Czech aerospace industry are presented at one national address. As the largest and oldest Czech aerospace manufacturer, Aero has an irreplaceable place in this elite club.
