Abu Dhabi. 19 February 2017. ECA Group has launched its subsidiary ECA Middle East in Abu Dhabi. The UAE and Abu Dhabi were selected to set up ECA Middle East and several ECA Group systems are already in service in the Middle East countries, like the PAP Mine Disposal Vehicle, the UAV IT180 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, MVS Military Vehicle Simulator, CAMELEON Unmanned Ground Vehicle.
This subsidiary will, in the first instance, develop sales for ECA Group in the Middle East. It will also focus on developing services such as maintenance, technical assistance and training in order to support its existing and new customers as well as setting up strategic partnerships with local companies in the fields of robotic systems and training simulation.
Thanks to the important ECA Group portfolio of Solutions and Products, ECA Middle East will be able to address many market segments: “Defense & Security”, “Maritime”, “Energy & Industrial Equipment” as well as “Training Simulation” for customers such as Ministries of Defense (Navies, Land forces…), Ministries of Interior and Home Affairs, Coast and Border Guards… and also Hydrographic and Oceanographic authorities, Shipyards, Oil & Gas companies, training centers….
ECA Group robotics and training solutions, can be of great use for several countries in the area and ECA Group is confident that this first opening in UAE will lead to set up other facilities in the neighboring countries in the near future.
