Utah. 17th January, 2016. Just imagine–with an entry into your Uber app on the mobile phone you can book a helicopter ride service. Aviation major Airbus and taxi service Uber have partnered to do a pilot project which will offer rides around Utah during the Sundance Film Festival this month.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Airbus CEO Tom Enders said “It’s a pilot project, we’ll see where it goes — but it’s pretty exciting.”
Details on the partnership will be known soon but it sure is a proposition which will attract a major attention globally.
