• United Engines Corporation (UEC) to present models of aircraft and marine engines
  • Techmash to discuss a joint venture for the production of ammunition with the Ministry of Defence
  • Total of 800 defence products will be showcased at the event

New Delhi, March 22, 2016. Rostec  announced that its subsidiary company, Russian Helicopters, will showcase the Mi-38 and Ka-226T at the upcoming Defense Expo 2016. In addition, Rostec subsidiaries Techmash intends to discuss creation of joint production of ammunitions with the Ministry of Defence while United Engine Corporation (UEC) will present models of aircraft and marine engines. The 500 people strong delegation from Russia will be headed by Sergei Goreslavskiy, Deputy General Director, Rosoboronexport.

“Russian Helicopters” will hold talks with leading aircraft companies of India – Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the Indian government company Pawan Hans Limited, which operates helicopters Mi-172 and others. “Russian Helicopters” also plans to organize a presentation of the Mi-38 and Mi-171A2 for Pawan Hans Limited.

United Engine Corporation (UEC) will present models of the most advanced production engine for military aircraft (including Su-35 aircraft) AL-41F-1S and the example created in the Russian Federation competencies in the development and manufacture of marine engines E70 / 8RD. In addition, within the framework of DEFEXPO UEC plans to address topics of combat aircraft engines (AL-31FP, AL-41F-1S, RD-33MK, the AL-55I), helicopters (VK-2500, TV3-117) and marine (M70FRU).

 Other notable Rostec subsidiaries that will be present at DEFEXPO 2016 include “Kalashnikov”, “Techmash”, “Precision Systems”, UEC and “Schwabe” among others. In total, the exhibition will provide information about more than 800 Russian production samples of military and dual purpose.
